Identity in Christ

Ministry at the Care Farm places emphasis on the magnificent intricacies in God's creations.  This experiential learning is happening at the pace of the person being served. As we discover their likes and differences our awareness expands. Without typical performance related demands on a timeframe decided by a "system," we see a relief in pressure, anxiety lowers and in it's place curiosity can emerge.

By joining each person in discovering how God has a plan and process in all living things, seeds of identity are planted in every lesson.  Treasure hunts lead us to unexpected finds offering numerous opportunities to naturally learn together and encourage that deeper investigating.  For example, tending to the sheep unlocks greater understanding about their prey instincts and allows for comparison to our own human defensive natures.  In this way, we gently tap into sensitive areas created by trauma and thoughtfully dismantle old confines.

Then, we offer problem solving.  How can we draw the sheep closer to us?  "My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow me." John 10:27  We follow the One to which we belong and are protected by because we are handled gently. Each truth grows our roots into the knowledge that we are all fearfully and wonderfully made.
